Our Mission:

To raise ethically grown livestock, grow chemical free produce, use regenerative farming to rebuild soil, and provide for our community.

No Chemicals

Our vegetables will be grown here on our farm from seed to plant. That way we know how it was grown from start to finish.

Regenerative

Our livestock will be pasture raised and moved to a new paddock every couple of days. By doing so you limit the the harm that the animal can do by overgrazing.

Sustainability

We want our farm to be sustainable. We hope to use resources that we can find here on our farm to raise our livestock and grow our vegetables

Communication

We feel that the meats and vegetables that we are putting into our bodies these days are not what is best for us. We hope to be able to raise awareness to our community about how much home grown meats and vegetables are so much better for them.

About our Farm

About Us

We are Brandon and Laura Floyd. We have 3 children Aaron, Morgan and Wesley. We work for our small town family owned telephone company and two sister companies. Brandon works in IT and I am over purchasing and inventory. All of our children are currently still in public school.

Brandon lived in Conway, AR all of his life and moved to Calhoun county in 2014 after he took a job at our local phone company in 2012. He is self taught and currently holds no college degree for anything he is involved with in the company.

I was born and raised in Calhoun County and lived here pretty much all of my life. I lucked up on a customer service representative job at the local phone company in 2003. I started out in the front office until being moved to the position over inventory and purchasing in 2014.

We got married in March of 2018 and currently live in Billy Goat Ridge. Our little circle of neighbors have called this area that since I could remember. I use the term neighbors lightly because we are all spaced out about a ¼ of mile from each other. So when I say neighbor, it might be the ones a mile and a half down the road from us.

We visited a small family owned farm, that is located way out in the middle of nowhere, about a year ago that is raising grass fed livestock, having it processed and selling it to the public. We purchased some of their meats and I have to say that was some of the best meat I had eaten in a very long time. The quality, taste, texture, color is all very different from what you purchase in our grocery stores today. We got to thinking……….why couldn’t we do the same thing? We have the land to raise livestock on so why not?
